Denver Botanical Gardens
The kids had an absolute blast at the Gardens for the Strickland/Corbett/Spencer half of the day. There is a stage set down into a recessed park right inside the entrance to the park. They had various and diverse acts on the stage throughout the day and several tents out for shade. We brought several blankets and a magnificent picnic put together by the girls (Sarah was on food duty and Shanna was on the beverages).
There was face painting, music, the Gardens themselves...Maddy loved the various water falls and water features that were around. The grass itself around the stage was a source of great fun, as illustrated by this video.
